(Frankfurt) Symrise AG has the best annual report of all newly listed Prime Standard companies, i.e., companies listed on the stock exchange that are subject to the strictest financial reporting requirements. The Symrise win was based on the following evaluation criteria: design, language and content of the reporting.
According to CEO Gerold Linzbach, “At Symrise we place a great deal of importance on the annual report. We want to run a transparent organization and keep shareholders and the general public abreast of our business development in a timely fashion. I’m happy that our efforts were rewarded with first place in Manager Magazine's famous competition.”
This marks the thirteenth time that Manager Magazine has analyzed the annual reports of Germany’s and Europe’s most important listed companies and awarded a prize to the very best. Included in the study were the 2006 reports of over 200 companies listed on the Dax, MDax, SDax and TecDax and the leading European stock index Stoxx 50. Studies also included all newcomers who were listed last year as Prime Standard companies on the German Stock exchange. The Manager Magazine competition is the largest of its kind in Germany and one of the most comprehensive in the world.
The Symrise annual report was compiled in consultation with Hamburg agencies red roses communications and Kirchhoff Consult AG.
